This is my work for visual art class

Devrim Erbil is a Turkish artist and instructor. He was born in 1937 in Uşak. He was Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu’s student. In 1962 he started to work as a asistant at the Academy (today’s Mimar Sinan University). In 2004 he retired from MSU and now he is dean of the Faculty of Art and Design in Doğuş University.

In these paintings he represents Istanbul with its history such as its mosques,  Haydarpaşa Limanı etc.

And i recommend to visit his web site because i think it has really good design!

Richard Winkler

May 20, 2009

Richard Winkler who was born in 1969 in Sweden is a illustrator first. Then he decided to become a full time painter. He travelled Sri Lanka and Paris for inspiration. At last he moved to Bali and he lived in a mountain village with his wife. After his children born he moved near by beach. I liked his village type living. My dream is also moving a village near by sea and become a full time painter.

What do i like about his paintings? His style is still like illustration, there is no so much detail in his figures. the skins of women are so smooth.

take a look to his official web site: http://www.richardwinkler.com/index.html
